More than likely if you're reading this, you're completely totally smitten and obsessed with 4 British boys and 1 Irish one. Yes, one direction, aka the next best thing to Jesus. Also you may be attending a Where We Are concert coming up in the next year, super exciting! I'll be at WWA Dallas, section B row 23! And this is how the best news I've ever heard happened:
It was Tuesday, the same day the boys were on GMA after the release of Midnight Memories the day before. The boys officially announced the North American tour, and I was pretty much beyond excited because I thought about how my dream of getting to see them was becoming more possible seeing that the Dallas concert was the closest venue to me and only 6 hours away! Me and my best friend caroline promised each other the next one direction tour we would get tickets. We were texting all throughout the boys GMA performance, FREAKING OUT BC OMG THEYRE SO HOT! Lol.. Uhm anyways... Haha! I was actually at Dauphin Island, Alabama, a small island off of alabamas coast with my dad, grandpa, uncle, and my little cousin Jack. And yes they were forced to wake up early to watch the boys on GMA with me :). When me and Caroline heard that tickets were going on sale that day for citi card members we were asking all of the members of our families if they had a citi card, desperately already wanting tickets. Well of course, none of them had a citi card. This kind of bummed us out, I was scrolling through my twitter TL and all I saw were about WWA tickets. I decided to type in WWA Tour into the twitter search bar, just to see what everyone was saying. I stumbled upon a picture someone had tweeted of what the Live While Were Young package and Where We Are package included, I literally was amazed and thought they were the bomb. But obviously I started having a reality check, figuring the ticket prices were insanely ridiculous. Id always heard how expensive those kind of tickets could be, but when I actually found out the true prices of the tickets I was fairly surprised, and realized the $1000 ticket price for VIP's before were because of ticket scalpers.
Here's where things started to turn around:
I noticed that people were talking about VIP Nation and that was where these packages could be bought. So I signed on to their website to check it out, I was surprised to realize those tickets were actually going on sale, that day, at the same time as the citi card presale. My heart start basically pounding and I realized convincing my parents had to happen. And fast. I had one hour until they went on sale, and I knew the amount of tickets they were releasing would be gone extremely fast. So I basically begged my dad, and he actually started to CONSIDER IT. LIKE WHAT. WAS I REALLY GETTING ONE STEP CLOSER TO MY DREAM?? My dad knows how much one direction means to me, so this made me happy. My mom was back home in Louisiana, so we had to call her up, it was about 10:30, only 30 minutes until the tickets of my dreams were being put on sale. My anxiety was literally plummeting through the roof.
then comes the moment of truth:
Dad and mom, are talking and I can tell things are looking pretty good, and I'm staying hopeful. Then they say, are you ready?! Are you ready for this?! They say WE ARE GOING TO TRY TO GET YOU 2 LWWY PACKAGE TICKETS. AND IM JUST LIKE UHDISBFHISNCOH AND LITERALLY GASPING FOR AIR. So it's about 10:48 now, and I'm realizing we are literally 12 minutes away from the tickets going on sale, and I was flipping out, like full on pacing the room. My dad and I had ticketmaster pulled up for the Dallas tour, logged into our account, ready to go. Well the WIFI AT THE STINKING CONDO WE WERE STAYING AT WAS TERRIBLE. My stress literally went up so much in that moment. We were still on the phone with my mom, and we quickly told her to log onto ticketmaster, and go to the Dallas concert ticket page. It's about 10:50, and then we realize my dad had switched credit cards since the last time we bought tickets through ticketmaster, which means YOU HAVE TO PUT IN ALL THIS NEW INFO OR YOU LOSE YOUR TICKETS YOU HAVE AT THE MOMENT. So now my mom is literally speed typing in all this card information, thank God she is a fast typist🙌 it's 10:58 when she's finally back on the ticket buying page. I'm literally screaming instructions at her over the phone lolol. She refreshes the browser right at 11, and quickly puts in the info to search for two LWWY tickets, well no luck... So she then searches for WWA package and she finds them... DID YOU JUST READ THAT!?!?! SHE GOT SOME. I WAS SCREAMING. They were two seats for section B row 23... Like O.M.G. I ALMOST THREW UP WHEN I GOT THEM, AND MY DAS MADE ME LAY DOWN, BECAUSE IM PRONE TO FAINT AND I WAS BLACKING OUT. BUT... I GOT THEM!!!! Best moment ever.
So that's basically how I got my tickets and I almost threw up and it was amazing and I smiled all day and night long and I still am and it's going to be amazing. Anyways this is my first time to get to see the boys, and in so so thankful that I saw the VIP Nation tickets went on sale that day. I'm also thankful for all of you who are getting to come to the show as well, and to everyone who wasn't able to this time I hope that you can see your idols some day. Because I know exactly how you feel loves and y'all deserve it. Big love. X.x.x.
